 The Legend Lives

Thai Royal Approval

The WorldMAC Games have now received approval to use the Royal Ceremonial Emblem in the celebrations on the auspicious occasion of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn's 5th Cycle (60th) Birthday Anniversary on 02 April 2015 (B.E. 2558).

WorldMAC Games 2015

Following many weeks of negotiations, it can now be announced the World Martial Arts Council, in association with the Kru Masters Association (KMA), Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), and the TV and Press Association, confirmation has been received that the first WorldMAC Games for all competitive martial arts will take place in Bangkok over ten days from 12 - 22 March 2015, and will be hosted by Thailand, the very welcoming land of smiles.  All competitors, coaches and spectators must apply for an ID Pass on arrival, and this will provide many subsidies that have already been agreed.  These include free entry into all categories for competitors, free entry into the stadium throughout the ten days for spectators, return transfers from airport to the officially appointed hotels for everyone, free internal transport within Bangkok throughout the event, substantial discounts on hotel accommodation, free opening ceremony, free one day martial arts festival with food and entertainment at the ancient city of Ayuthaya, normally closed to the general public, and free final closing ceremony.  The ID Passes cost $50 or around £33 per person depending on exchange rates at the time, so why pay obscene amounts to enter or attend other world events?  There is only one chance to make history by attending the first WorldMAC Games, and this is it.

MOU Agreement Official Signing

 Video Signing of MOU Agreement

For many years some martial arts have continuously attempted to gain inclusion into the Olympic Games, but unfortunately this is never going to happen for the majority, and this prompted the World Martial Arts Council to establish the WorldMAC Games.  These events are open to all individuals, martial arts federations, organizations, and associations regardless of membership numbers or present affiliations, and are staged entirely free of any political agenda.  All martial arts groups are now invited to confirm their interest in this historical development, and to nominate one person from their discipline for the WorldMAC Games Organizing Committee within their country.

All individual martial artists and groups may register with the World Martial Arts Council totally free of charge on the Register Page, the access bar of which is located above the revolving images on every page.

WMAC Representatives Selection Process
The World Martial Arts Council is now inviting applications from registered individuals wishing to become WMAC Representatives.  Whilst many enquiries have been received in recent months, because it has been necessary to establish duties and responsibilities, we are still in the process of selecting some people for these positions.  Please be aware of the following:
These positions are voluntary and unpaid.
There will only be one International Commissioner for each geographical area containing a number of countries.
There will be only one International Representative and one National Representative in each country.
International Commissioners will be over all International Representatives of countries within their jurisdiction, International Representatives will be over all National Representatives in their countries, and National Representatives will be over all Regional Representatives in their  countries.
National Representatives must supply a list of all named regions, counties, states or provinces in their countries, and nominate one responsible person for each of these.
The first duty of all representatives is to register individuals and martial arts groups in their own countries and areas, beginning with their own.
All martial arts groups, regardless of style or discipline, must be treated with respect and given equal opportunities.
It is the duty of all representatives to work together in their country to organize events, seminars, competitions, and promote academic educational programmes.
All representatives must work towards establishing national teams for the martial arts active within their countries.
All activities organized in each country must be self-financing.
To be considered for positions as WMAC Representatives please e-mail the following, even if you have already provided one or more of these:
                1.      Name.
2.      WMAC individual registration number.
3.      Present grade or title.
4.      Relevant experience regarding the above duties and responsibilities.
5.      One recent passport photograph with a white background.
Whilst these positions are unpaid, and those selected are not employees of the World Martial Arts Council, all representatives will be allowed to claim expenses for anything they organize in line with the economic situation of their countries.  In addition, all representatives will receive substantial discounts on WMAC merchandise, academic programmes and events, in order to benefit from the promotion of these.
All applicants must ensure they can fully comply with the above, as the World Martial Arts Council will immediately remove anyone acting to the detriment of its international status, or discovered to be abusing these positions of trust, financially or otherwise.
